Week #9/Thing 23!!!!!!!!!!!!!Copyright and Creative

I really enjoyed this video about Creative Commons. It made CC make sense in 3 minutes!



I learned about current copyright...something I shy away from and "stay protected" under the "fair use" phrase. It's almost a relief to know that there is Creative Commons--resources out there that creators WANT you to USE and CHANGE. With so many products out on the web, and you know people are going to morph them into something else...Creative Commons is the cat's meow.

I am going to have to rework my copyright lesson plan to include Creative Commons and how to access those resources. Teachers will also need to know about this. I am excited to read other PA Online Web 2.0 blogs to see what other librarians think about copyright and CC.
